If your cat is losing a lot of hair it could be mange and you should get it to a vet. Mange has to be trated before it gets worse.

Do you mean you (currently) do not have a vet, or that no one was willing to help you? I am certain if you called ANY veterinarian, they would be happy to help you.

Does your cat stay indoors?.If so artificial light will make an animal shed alot ..........Get him in the sunshine and buy food specifically designed for indoor cats
