All of your hair falls out. Chemo works by killing fast growing tissues. Hair is amongst the faster growing tissues. It will grow back.

Hair is hair. You lose it all. The same chemicals that affect the ones on your head affect the ones elsewhere. You can always buy a wig to cover the head but must buy sweaters for the rest of you. Sorry.

yup..... where there is hair is on your body..eyebrows, lashes, arms, legs(which is cool if you are a female!), pubic area..you can lose it....the first time was freaky..nobody had told me that part!..second time I was prepared...and my lover thought it was pretty kinky!! hahaha

Only some types of chemotherapy make you lose your hair . .and, yes, . . all hair on the body is affected. But it is only temporary during the chemotherapy treatments. Once you stop chemo the hair starts growing back.

Not all chemo makes hair fall out . . some types of chemotherapy turns all the hair white. My son is using sunitinib and the hair on head and body is now white.

It depends on what type of chemo drugs that you are being given. Some don't lose any hair. I lost all my hair except some that was on my arms. Guess it depends also on the person.

I have been taking chemo for over a year. I have never lost all of my hair,yet. The hair on my head got very thin, lost my eyelashes, eyebrows almost, pubic hair stayed. I think it must depend on the drug and the persons reaction to that drug. After the first shock, it really didn't matter to me- you find ways to work around it. The only thing that matters is that I keep on fighting the cancer.

Also, nails don't grow [but don't fall out]. No new eyelashes or eyebrow hair. [but mine didn't fall out]

I lost ALL my hair. I also didn't have eye brows or eye lashes. My skin had no hair.
