I lost all my pubic hair during Chemo Therapy . Does Rogain work on armpits ?

Be very careful in what you use an over use of cemicals in products is never a good thing. some hair products can cause severe reactions ,do a test patch firstly if after 24 hours you have no redness, swelling, headache, itch or burn then you will be ok to use the product fully.

I lost all my pubic hair during Chemo Therapy . Does Rogain work on armpits ?

Hair you lost due to chemo therapy will grow back. Why would you want underarm hair anyway? It's just annoying.

let it grow back naturally

What would cause a woman too lose large amts of hair, break out all over her face, and have a headac

i have always had very beautiful long hair. i have always had a very clear face... no acne at all not even in my teenage years.

within approx. around 8 weeks My hair has been coming out in the shower in big amounts, my face broke out and has gotten worse, and i have had a continous headache for about a week now. please help!

What would cause a woman too lose large amts of hair, break out all over her face, and have a headache?

I'm not an expert on skin conditions and such but I can say that if you have recently had a lot of stress put on your life then it could be the cause of everything. My sister had her right eyebrows and eyelashes fall out because she was under serious stress from her divorce.

What would cause a woman too lose large amts of hair, break out all over her face, and have a headache?

Could be thyroid problems. You should really go to the doctor. This sounds pretty bad.

What would cause a woman too lose large amts of hair, break out all over her face, and have a headache?

that doesn't sound good at all...there are so many reasons that things like that could happen so id say see a doctor if it continues or gets worse

Is it ok to shave my chest and stomach?im 17 and i have to much body hair. how can i lose some or ma

i dont want to shave becouse my hair will grow thicker but i also dont like the hair i have on my chest and stomach so any ideas on what to do? and is it ok to do it? thnx

Is it ok to shave my chest and stomach?im 17 and i have to much body hair. how can i lose some or make it thin

I wouldn't suggest shaving it (w/ a razor) but what my boyfriend does (he is also very hairy) is he uses hair clippers/shaver the electric kind and puts a spacer on it (desired length) and that just thins it out. It actually made a huge difference and looks alot better and without razor burn or bumps. hope that helps!!:)

Is it ok to shave my chest and stomach?im 17 and i have to much body hair. how can i lose some or make it thin

You can get it removed using laser

SHAVE UR BALLZ

Is it ok to shave my chest and stomach?im 17 and i have to much body hair. how can i lose some or make it thin

There some more options like nair or veet. or waxe or nads.

there are also lotions that make your hair grow back less thick and slower, use one of those.

Is it ok to shave my chest and stomach?im 17 and i have to much body hair. how can i lose some or make it thin

try a men's hair removal cream. If you keep using it the hair will eventually just stop growing back. Be careful though, you might come to like your hair so if you have it permanently removed make sure you've thought it all the way through first!

Is it ok to shave my chest and stomach?im 17 and i have to much body hair. how can i lose some or make it thin

hair removal cream. take 5-10mins to works and no pain, you'll have to do pretty often though, laser could be an option for one hell of a cost. XD waxing is too painful for chest or stomach. so go with the cream XD

oh and they say constant use of the cream could eventually lessen the hair XD

Is it ok to shave my chest and stomach?im 17 and i have to much body hair. how can i lose some or make it thin

Who says you have too much body hair?

If you really are self conscious, do as someone suggested and use and electric trimmer with the 'thinning' attachments.

Is it ok to shave my chest and stomach?im 17 and i have to much body hair. how can i lose some or make it thin

just shave it of my partner does it all the time i love a hairless man so ye go for that.

Is it ok to shave my chest and stomach?im 17 and i have to much body hair. how can i lose some or make it thin

The best thing to do is just get over it. It's not mentally healthy to keep fighting your body reality. If you are hairy, be PROUDLY HAIRY. Tinkering with superficial stuff like hair all the time leads to poor self esteem. You are who you are -- rejoice in the body you have.

Is it ok to shave my chest and stomach?im 17 and i have to much body hair. how can i lose some or make it thin

A few days ago, someone in Mens Health had laser removal of his body hairs. He is into competitive swimming and his body hairs is basically slowing him down. He did not mention the cost but I think it is darn expensive.

It's your body and your hair. You can do exactly as you like. You don't need anyone else's permission.

Help My Guinea Pig lost some of her hair?

Yesturday I noticed my guinea pig was moving and shaking her head alot, so I checked everything and came across a small patch of fur that was missing. I feed her well, and She gets lots of excercise, so I was wondering if any home remidies might fix this or should I bring her to the vet, change her diet??? Please help me I am very worried about my pet and it would be very helpful if you tell me some ways that might help her regain her hair, also if you think nothing is wrong and that it will grow back say that also. I want answers, PLEASE HELP I AM VERY WORRIED ABOUT MY GUINEA PIG!!! ASAP PLEASE!!

Help My Guinea Pig lost some of her hair?

Hair loss can be caused by a few different things.

Parasites, usually mites, can cause hairloss. Mites are microscopic, so they cannot be seen with the naked eye. When hairloss is caused by mites, it often appears as if the guinea pig has "dandruff." Mites need to be treated with Invermectin, a prescription available from the vet. Invermectin is highly effective and very safe.

Fungus can also cause hairloss. Hairloss caused by fungus often appears as little scaly or crusty balding patches. Fungus can be treated with an over-the-counter miconazole cream, such as Monistat 7 or Femizole M.

Vitamin deficiencies can also cause hairloss, but this is relatively rare.

The links below have helpful photos to help determine what type of hairloss your guinea pig is suffering.

Best of luck!

EDIT: If the hairloss is right behind the ear, there is no need to worry. Hair loss behind the ear is normal, common and genetic. See link:

Help My Guinea Pig lost some of her hair?

It's possible she could be stressed out. Make sure you give her lots of love and attention. Animals often pluck their hair or feathers when they are stressed. Just keep a close eye on her, make sure the patch of hair that's missing doesn't get bigger. Go to a pet store and browse thru a Guinea Pig "how to" book, see if it says anything about those kinds of habits.

Help My Guinea Pig lost some of her hair?

i have 6 guinea pigs (2 had sex) that happened to my first one. you guinea pig may have flees or it could be more serious if you play with your pet and find red itchy bumps on you then she has flees(dont worry) just by an anti- flee and tick spray and they would be gone in no time

Help My Guinea Pig lost some of her hair?

it could be old age or mites or insects biting and irritating her take her to a vet rather be safe than sorry

Help My Guinea Pig lost some of her hair?

You say it's behind her ear? Do you mean directly behind the ear?

If it is right behind the ear it is perfectly natural. All guinea pigs have distinct bald spots behind their ears, which are sometimes larger on albino guineas.

A technical explantion: "These Bald spots are referred to as "the hairless areas" (Curtis sine pilis) and are usually about 1 to 1.5 cm in diameter. As a rule, no hairs grow in this region, however, sometimes a few scattered hairs may be present. The hairless area is larger in albino pigs and in colored animals the skin is usually more darkly pigmented than the remaining skin. The area not only lacks hair, but is also free of sweat and sebaceous glands."

This page has more details(about half way down the page):http://www.guinealynx.info/hairloss.html

The shaking and movement you mention could well be just popcorning, a common guinea pig behviour they do when they are excited or energetic:

LADIES - Have you ever lost a bunch of HAIR? What caused it?

Please explain how or what caused your hair to fall out and how you would avoid it in the future. Thanks

LADIES - Have you ever lost a bunch of HAIR? What caused it?

No, I haven't myself but my sister did and it can be because of stress, your shampoo, the temperature of water- don't wash you hair with very hot water. I amount of heat styling you do or just in your family. But there are many ways you can resolve it:

- change you shampoo every month

-Wash you hair with warm or cold water.

-minimise heat styling and products

- Rub oil in your hair every fortnight- I suggest almond, coconut or olive...

I hope this helps!

LADIES - Have you ever lost a bunch of HAIR? What caused it?

yes- it was b/c of stress

LADIES - Have you ever lost a bunch of HAIR? What caused it?

my hair tends to fall out when i wash it too much or when im too stressed out

LADIES - Have you ever lost a bunch of HAIR? What caused it?

sometimes peoples hair falls out when they dont have enough protien, which is why your hair falls out when your anorexic. but, mine just falls out sometimes randomly, and i have no idea why

LADIES - Have you ever lost a bunch of HAIR? What caused it?

I still do loose my hair but not as much as i use to and that is because I was told that if you us a lot of different hair products that can cause hair lose or if you us hair sraghting irons that can also cause it.what i would do is stop using so many products and take hair vataminsto strenghen it.

LADIES - Have you ever lost a bunch of HAIR? What caused it?

Also, pulling your hair back tight can lead to increased hair loss.

LADIES - Have you ever lost a bunch of HAIR? What caused it?

i lost hair because i pulled it back to many time

LADIES - Have you ever lost a bunch of HAIR? What caused it?

no but this girl in my gym class's did

it made me laugh

LADIES - Have you ever lost a bunch of HAIR? What caused it?

My (first) wife lost a couple of hanks of hair prior to our wedding. It was diagnosed as alopecia areata. It was caused by stress. However, i dont know how to rid your life of stress :) I dont remember if she had to use a cream, but it wasnt a life threatening problem, just hard for a young lady to handle. Good luck and see a doctor.

Hair Loss problem - please help!?

So I've always been known for my giant thick hair and now i'm losing it all! I've done the japanese hair straightening treatement 2 years ago and have been using a ceramic hair straightner ever since (1-2x a week). I'm healthy, eat right, no thyroid problems. How do i fix this sudden hair loss problem?? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hair Loss problem - please help!?

Are you stressed out, by any chance? I've heard that stress can cause that to happen. So can hormones. I hope it comes back to you but it doesn't sound like you're really doing anything wrong. I doubt it's your ceramic iron or anything. You didn't give too much other information but the first thing I'd change would be diet (take vitamins?), then think about your stress level. If you're having a big crisis right now, I'm sure it will grow back once the dust settles. If you take birth control pills, you may want to ask your gyn about the possibility of that being a side-effect. Good luck with everything!

Why did humans lose most of their hair?

Why did humans and hominids lose their fur?

Why did humans lose most of their hair?

We lost our hair because we evolved to have sweat glands. Sweat glands do not get along well with long hair. We are not the only species to have sweat glands and no long hair. Horses and cattle also have little hair and lots of sweat glands.

Why did humans lose most of their hair?

The most common explanation is to allow us to eliminate excess heat. Dogs and cats cannot sweat because of all their fur - they pant instead. Reduction in hair allows us to get rid of heat over almost all of our bodies. Interestingly enough, some scientists think bipedality (standing upright and walking on two feet) also evolved to reduce the amount of heat we absorb from the sun.

Why did humans lose most of their hair?

Evolution. When humans started wearing clothes, eventually they lost their fur.

Why did humans lose most of their hair?

because fashion was invented. without clothes and fashion, i think we'll still be furred.

would you rather wear a different coat each time you go out or wear the same old look? that would be boring!

Why did humans lose most of their hair?

The answer is, we really don't know. Since time machines really don't exist any hypothesis we come up with as to why Natural Selection took a specific course, is simply a guess with a good story. Some stories just make more sense than others.

The first response does make a lot of sense given that humans did seem to evolve in a drier/hotter savanah climate than chimpanzees and that hair follicles do prevent the formation of sweat glands.

Why did humans lose most of their hair?

Our planet got warmer 10000 years ago. And because of that we evolved to adapt to a warmer planet. One way was getting rid our our body hair. I have no body hair because my descendants came from the desert regions of this world. And Europeans have more hair because they are from the colder parts of the northern hemisphere.

Why did humans lose most of their hair?

did you know that we actually have more hair on our bodies per square inch than aa chimp? we are still in the process of losing our hair. since we no longer need it it is getting finer and tends to fall out faster(hair goes into dormant stages of growth) thus giving us the appearance of less hair. this might be for a couple of reasons....one is since we are clothed it is not necessarily to have long thick fur though our ancestors proabably did not have real thick coats anyway since our origins are in africa. secondly perhaps hairy guys are not so attractive to girls(think back hair) thus they do not get to pass on their genes for being hairy (a major part of natural selection and the drivng force behind eolution). only that hair which aids in reproduction has tended to stay thick and long (head, arm. pit..pheromones, and gential regions(for fricition as well as pheromones)

Why did humans lose most of their hair?

At some point it may have been an advantage to have less hair. My guess is that we experienced a considerable rise in temperature just prior to a cooler period (or to moving to cooler areas), where we might have started using hides, grass or bark to keep ourselves warm and dry. We might then have no longer needed to 'regrow' hair in order to stay warm, as well as the use of skins or vegetation for clothing making us more susceptible to infestation (lice?). Less hair might mean a louse-free body.

I suppose hairlessness might be also be more 'revealing', making a human with less hair sexier - as in more 'available'. At least when the hides are off.. After all, we are creatures with a highly developed visual system.

We have recently took on a shitzu who has lost alot of hair .she did itch a bit . what is wrong with

The best thing to do is take her to the vet. Losing hair and having itchy skin can be many things.. especially if you dont know much about her. It could be allergies, demodectic or sarcoptic mange, a thyroid issue, bad diet, or simply just dry skin. Take her to the vet to rule out any serious issues that should be treated. If her health check is good, then buy an oatmeal based shampoo and bathe her once every 2 weeks until it starts to improve then bathe less often. Make sure you are feeding a good food (no store brand dog foods) You can also put cod liver oil or omega oil on her food to improve her skin and coat. All of these are things to try, good luck!

We have recently took on a shitzu who has lost alot of hair .she did itch a bit . what is wrong with her?

The first thing vets look at is the food. Put her on a QUALITY food with fish, no beef. Beef is the number one thing dogs are alergic too. Dont bathe her because it could be the shampoo, only take her to a groomer and tell them to use gentle shampoo. My guess is that it is a genetic disease and I think that you should call your vet.

We have recently took on a shitzu who has lost alot of hair .she did itch a bit . what is wrong with her?

Try checking this first-

Give her a bath. Let her dry and smell her the next day. Does she have an odor still (if had one previously). If so, my guess would be sarcoptic mange. Different from the more common demodectic mange. Mitoban is some great stuff if you get it from your vet.

Other than that, an allergic reaction to food, shampoo, your fabric detergent and softeners, medication, or fleas?

The simple check first is the bath. Often anti-itch shampoos will help, but not if it is the mange. For temporary relief- Aveeno bath mix for people gives some relief.

To test for this at the vet, they do a tiny skin scraping and look at it under microscope. This little mange mite looks really painful too!

We have recently took on a shitzu who has lost alot of hair .she did itch a bit . what is wrong with her?

It might be a skin allergy. Dogs are prone to have them. I would take it to the vet as soon as possible so you know for sure that she doesn't have mange.

We have recently took on a shitzu who has lost alot of hair .she did itch a bit . what is wrong with her?

A vet would be able to determine what is wrong with her. Losing hair and itching could be a sign of many things, as others said. I did not see fleas or mites or yeast. All common. ShihTzus get yeast infections in their ears because of their floppy ears, and it can spread through out the skin. There is a nasty odor that goes along with the yeast infections, if that helps. My Tzu had yeast throughout her ears and skin. My vet said to bathe her with Selsun Blue Medicated shampoo. Vet also gave me drops for her ears, but she gave me such a hard time with the drops, I just used the shampoo. Cleared up the yeast pretty fast. BUT I am not saying that is what your dog has. Go to a vet to find out what it may be.

We have recently took on a shitzu who has lost alot of hair .she did itch a bit . what is wrong with her?

Aah that's awfull poor dog take her to the vets it sounds like mange I love my dog and the vet is good thought of registering there myself as it's better treatment than the NHS woof woof

We have recently took on a shitzu who has lost alot of hair .she did itch a bit . what is wrong with her?

I have taken on a dog with a similar problem and all the vet did was charge me a large amount of cash and told me nothing. As several people have said it could be anything, One of the problems I have put it down to is stress of leaving the owner. Along with allergies. the vet wanted to start testing for this but decided not to when found out the price per sample.

I have just kept bathing her with a gentle shampoo for dogs, and the girlfriends has used a antiseptic cream on any area's that are troublesome. It seems to have worked as the dogs hair is now starting to slowly regrow and the itching has eased alot. She still has itching spells but it is a matter of keeping an eye on her and try changing a few things. Do you use a carpet freshener when you hoover. Do you wash her bedding with the same washing powders as you use for your own clothes. It might just be some thing as simple as fleas.

Hope you find out the problem soon.

What infection causes a dog to have bumps, throw up.also have lost a little dog hair?

You should go and ask your vet....

Seriously, we are not veterinarians here, just do the right thing and ask your vet....now! Don't make your dog suffer while you mess around on YA....jeeze!

What infection causes a dog to have bumps, throw up.also have lost a little dog hair?

Bumps and losing hair can be multiple things including mange, skin infections, allergies, fleas, etc. I would definitely take the dog in to the vet and have it checked out. I personally have no expereince with a dog having hair loss/bumps and throwing up and it being related to each other but throwing up can be caused by multiple things as well and is not good as dogs can dehydrate easily. Also if it is demodex mange (hereditary - non contagious) then it usually shows up when your pet is stressed or has a weakened immune system (such as sickness)

What infection causes a dog to have bumps, throw up.also have lost a little dog hair?

Oh, yeah, that. It's the Takemetothevet Infection.

During chemo, it is absolutely sure that you lose all your hair ???

Not necessarily. If your glutathione is high, hair loss is minimal and nausea is minimal. There have been several recent studies preformed that directly correlate the level of glutathione in your system to the severity of side effects from chemotherapy or radiation treatment. I have a 78 year old friend that went through 4 cycles of chemo with very little hair loss, no nausea and only a small loss in strength. He raised glutathione by taking Immunocal.

Immunocal in listed in the US Physician's Desk Reference (PDR). It has a method of use patent # 5,888,552 dated 3-30-1999 that reads Anti-Cancer Therapeutic Compositions Containing Whey Protein Concentrate. This product has been shown to help prevent nausea, hair loss and loss of energy when going through chemotherapy or radiation.

Stay strong, God bless

During chemo, it is absolutely sure that you lose all your hair ???

No, but most people do at least lose enough to have it look better if you just shave your head. You can also lose eyelashes, eyebrows and nasal hair.

During chemo, it is absolutely sure that you lose all your hair ???

some people dont. but most do.

During chemo, it is absolutely sure that you lose all your hair ???

Its the chemo that makes you lose your hair,so yeah..unless you go with out it....but if you fight what you got youll grow all your hair back............ :)

During chemo, it is absolutely sure that you lose all your hair ???

no i had two friends go one girl one guy. the guy lost his but the girl has hers still

During chemo, it is absolutely sure that you lose all your hair ???

Had a friend on chemo. Lost his hair but happened to mention that not all people end up losing all of it or even some of it. Besides... God works it all out in the end. Hope you heal soon.

During chemo, it is absolutely sure that you lose all your hair ???

Yes, more than likely. Chemo drugs are so strong, they have to be to kill the bad cells of the cancer, that they end up killing some of the good cells along with it, hence the hair loss, which is why it is SO important to stay away from those who are sick or have colds. When you white blood cell count is down it is easier to get sick. Chemo kills a lot of various types of cells, the good and the bad. The hair loss is probably the least of a chemo patient's worries. As long as it kills the cancer, who cares - hair can grow back! It also depends on how long the patient has been undergoing treatment and the potentcy of the regimen.

During chemo, it is absolutely sure that you lose all your hair ???

No, everyone is different and different meds have different side effects. One thing I would recommend to someone who is expecting hair loss due to chemo is too clip off all of your hair beforehand, it is easier to deal with the sudden loss of hair than to just watch it just fall out over a few weeks.

If you are going for chemo and they tell you to expect hair loss just remember that bald is sexy, even for women and to treat your baldness as a badge of honor, it shows just how tough you are.

During chemo, it is absolutely sure that you lose all your hair ???

No but most people are loosing it so heavily that they end up just shaving it off. If you have it..Try a wig..Its not bad..Hey Hanna Montana has one. lol...

During chemo, it is absolutely sure that you lose all your hair ???

No it is not. It depends on what type of cancer you have, and which chemo treatment you are having. Even within that, each individual can have varying degrees of side effects, so even if you are told you may lose your hair, you might not. Listen to your Doctors and nurses They will give you the most up to date and correct information. Try not to listen to conflicting and negative things around you. Remember, your treatment is specific to your needs. I know it will all seem very overwhelming right now, but if this is you, I wish you luck for a good recovery. :)

During chemo, it is absolutely sure that you lose all your hair ???

The reason chemotherapy drugs may cause hair loss is that they are designed to kill fast-growing cells, such as cancer cellsm or hair cells or the cells that line your mouth and other openings and internal voids or organic surfaces (epethelial cells). The drug is dumb; it can't distinguish between one type of fast-growing cell and another, so it kills all of them.

Stop thinking about hair and start thinking about taking every possible precaution against bacterial infection. That's your main enemy: it will kill a person much faster than any cancer ever could. Be a tyrannt about absolute cleanliness and make chlorine bleach your best friend. Food must be free of all contamination.

May God help you through this.

My pom lost all her fluffy hair, why?

I got my pom "reese" at 6 weeks old with papers, she weighed only 1 pd and was a fluff ball, she is now 5 months and weighs only 3 pds, but just lost all her fluffy fur, it came out in the handful. It took only about 2 days for her to shed it all. Now she just has her top coat and she is not fluffy at all, does anyone no why this happened?

My pom lost all her fluffy hair, why?

Weather change.

My pom lost all her fluffy hair, why?

Poms go through coat stages. After about 4 months they will blow their puppy coat. At 10 months their first adult coat will grow in.

My pom lost all her fluffy hair, why?

ask the vet if it is health problem that is the only thing i can tell you other than maybe she is sheding her winter coat and is going to grow another but not as big and fluffy

My pom lost all her fluffy hair, why?

maybe it's the weather

My pom lost all her fluffy hair, why?

Could be normal puppy shed

Could be weather shed

Could be Demodex or Sarcoptic Mange

Could be Thyroid disorder

Call your breeder and ask them what the possible cause could be - they would know the line best - or at least one would hope so although selling a pup at 6 weeks speaks more of a Greeder not a Breeder.

My pom lost all her fluffy hair, why?

What she lost was her puppy coat...Don't worry

My pom lost all her fluffy hair, why?

I have 2 Poms, and they do loose their puppy coat and by a year will have the adult coat.

My pom lost all her fluffy hair, why?

She's going throught her "uglies" stage. All poms from around 3-4 months will be begin to lose their puppy coat and won't grow into their adult coat until about 10-12 months of age. Just be patient and it'll get better I promise! =)

Just so you know if you don't get her fixed she will do a partial version of this coming out of each heat cycle.

Here is a really good site with pictures to go with it!

I had a haircut step and layer mix but I feel my hair is chopped very much and I am feeling bad?

I have lost my long black hair. My new haircut is very stylish but I dont know why I am feeling so bad :-(

I had a haircut step and layer mix but I feel my hair is chopped very much and I am feeling bad?

It's just that it's something different. I just recently got 8 inches cut off my long, red hair and it took a lot of getting used to. Once you have played with it and have had it for awhile, you will get used to it and learn to love it! Everyone gets those blues when they have a massive hair change. Don't worry!

I had a haircut step and layer mix but I feel my hair is chopped very much and I am feeling bad?

I know its hard sometimes when you get a haircut that is very different from what you had. But you will get used to it and im sure love it and hair does grow so you will know better what you want for next time.

I had a haircut step and layer mix but I feel my hair is chopped very much and I am feeling bad?

u feel bad becuz its completely different. people tend to cling to their old ways, ways they know better. wat i suggest u shud do is

1. go shopping

2. get a massage/facial

3. get a manicure/pedicure

4. and go to a party. wen ur all dressed up and pretty and people compliment you, u mite begin to realize that u look great and that change is for the better.

I had a haircut step and layer mix but I feel my hair is chopped very much and I am feeling bad?

Maybe since you were growing out your hair for so long, you might have grown really attached to it. Since you probably wont be seeing it for a long time, learn to love your new hair and work it! Try something new to it everyday and eventually you'll love it more than your long hair. :]

I had a haircut step and layer mix but I feel my hair is chopped very much and I am feeling bad?

ur not used to the short length. it'll grow back eventually and by then u will be used to having different hair lengths.

Hair weak falling out dry scalp?

i started to notice it about 5 months ago in august. i was using a baseball cap and when i took it off at the end of the day i had 5 or so hairs in the rim of the cap. im 18 year old man. i lose about 5 to 10 hairs when i shower and dry my hair with the towel. it is falling out randomly in no particular aria.

when i run my hands through my hair and pull slightly i get a hair about every 3 times i do it. with the occasional 2 or 3 hairs. is that normal. i never payed attention before so im not sure if this is all normal or if im experiencing more then normal daily hair loss.

my hair is about 3-4 inches long and a little dry. i switched to head and shoulders for dry hair and scalp and it seemed to help

Hair weak falling out dry scalp?

sounds pretty normal to me also...

Hair weak falling out dry scalp?

Humans usually shed on the average about 100 hairs a day. It doesn't sound extreme to me, but keep using that shampoo anyway.

Hair weak falling out dry scalp?

Well a change in life style or daily routine can affect that also you diet and base ball caps can cause some hair loss too. the head and shoulders switch was good try to give your hair a brake from the gel, hairspray and mousse. also only wear a cap when you need too. If you see that your still having some issues try taking some vitamins take soem Biotin that's for hair, skin, and nails and some B complex for your stress level. good luck.

Hair weak falling out dry scalp?

moisturise ur scalp with pure coconut oil over night or even olive oil, also

ill let u in on a secret, this is miracle hair fixer which fixed my bleached hair! its called clynol id care repar, regenerate intensive collagen treatment, its amazing!!!

Why is my rabbit's hair changing colors?

It is only 3 months old. It started out as dark grey, but parts of it are turning tan or white and there is almost no grey left. Does this mean it is losing it's "baby" hair and will it stay this way?

Why is my rabbit's hair changing colors?

Ohh...you're baby bunny is growing up!! Yes, bunnies tend to go through a shed stage between 2 and 3 months of age at which time they can get different colors, different textures, etc. Yes, it will stay this way from now on.

Why is my rabbit's hair changing colors?

It is probably just changing as it gets older. The same thing happened to my rabbit. She has gotten much lighter than she was before. She hasn't changed again yet, but she is still young. I think your rabbit is doing the same thing, probably just loosing its baby hair...she will most likly stay that color.

Why is my rabbit's hair changing colors?

It may be bacause it's almost winter. Or if it's young it could be getting it's adult color.

Hair loss Alopesia?!?

Does anyone know what the chances are of losing eyebrows and other body hair? 38 years young. Lost a patch of hair 2inches by about 3inches (totally bald) in a matter of about 12 hours. Doctor said it is Alopecia. I have been on numerous websites and I cannot seem to find the information I need. Can anyone please help me? This all happened on Monday and I am freaking out. My hair is thinning everywhere else but so far, no bald patches. I want to know so badly if or what the chances of the rest of my body hair falling out. Please Help me with information, websites...anything PLEASE!?

It was abrupt but now it is to thinning everywhere. I am aware that can continue to get patches but I don't know what period of time is "typical".. :(

I shouldn't have said freaking out. I am only freaking out about the eyebrow thing more than anything. I have survived a lot and buried almost my entire family. Life could be so much worse. I can handle wigs. Not a problem for me at all. I even let my 9 year old draw in my bald spot! lol Heck, it won't take me as long to get ready! :) I just really want to know more about how fast/eyebrows/eyelashes. *chews off her fingernails.*

Hair loss Alopesia?!?

i would call the doctor that told u u had alopecia and find out from him its been a long time since i was in beauty school where i learned about this so i'm sorry i wish i could help but i would say at least just type alopecia into your search bar and it ought to tell u Good Luck

Hair loss Alopesia?!?

thats rough. there is usually a cause for it and there are certain things that may help slow the process or even stop it. there is a really great product out called nioxin, it is sold in salons only, it is simple you pick which system is you 1-7 then you can get the styling products and vitamins to go with it, you shouldn't use any other products while using nioxin. i have used itand it is amazing. scalp therapy is my favorite. your physician can tell you if infared or tesla scalp treatment could help. if your eyebrows and lashes do happen to fall out there are salons that have special tattoo sevices they can tattoo very natural looking eyebrows eyeliner and even lipliner on for usually 100-150 apiece, i mean if you will consider i wig why not that. goodluck.

Hair loss Alopesia?!?

You might not lose your eyebrows, my Mum has Alopecia and bless her she's had it bad, it seems to get better after a while and then falls out again so she wears hats and gets so paranoid i wish there was something I could do for her. But she has never lost hair from her eyebrows or anything it was just on her head. Keep your chin up, I know its hard but just keep that positive happy go lucky attitude of yours X

Please Help, 19 yr old horse, loss of cond, hair loss, itchy,?

Hi guys, my 19 yr old horse has lost big patches of hair, and cond, despite getting a lot of food, stabled at night, it is not rain rot, or ring worm or lice, had vet look already, am waiting for him to come back to do blood works on her, she is quite itchy but is not putting on weight despite tonics food etc, am quite worried, has anyone else gone through this experience... she was quite bad with worms when I bought her 10 yrs ago, is there anything to be done if it is liver/kidney damage????

Please Help, 19 yr old horse, loss of cond, hair loss, itchy,?

here are some possible answers:

Biting Gnats

Biting Gnats feed on the belly, inner thighs, poll, mane, withers, and tailhead. The irritation will cause the horse to scratch on anything around it. This can cause them to actually "rub" the hair out.

Onchocerca

Another condition called "Onchocerca" infestation is another very irritating condition in horses, but this is not so common an ailment since ivermectin has all but eliminated it.

Horn Fly

Horn Fly bites will also cause horses to rub to the point of hair loss.

Pediculosis

Lice or Pediculosis will not immediately cause hair loss but will eventually irritate the animal enough to rub the hair out and cause skin irritation. You can take a magnifying glass and put it up to your horses hair and you will be able to see lice if they are present.

Mange

Mange is identified by examining skin scrapings under a microscope. This is a very itchy condition and can be treated with topical chemicals which you should contact your veterinarian about.

Please Help, 19 yr old horse, loss of cond, hair loss, itchy,?

It could be any number of things....allergies if something new in stall, bedding, food. You need the results of the blood work to rule out Thyroid and other medical conditions. Sorry wish you the best.

Please Help, 19 yr old horse, loss of cond, hair loss, itchy,?

Trust your vet. The blood work will tell you if it is liver or kidney damage and there are some medications for those issues. I have seen horses with those symptoms just have a thyroid problem and at 19 that is very very common. The blood work should tell you what is wrong.

Please Help, 19 yr old horse, loss of cond, hair loss, itchy,?

Be sure and ask your vet, if he isn't already going to do it, to test her thyroid function...those are classic symptoms, and there are remedies. I am assuming that this condition came on gradually, right? When I read your question, that was the very first thing that came to mind. Good luck, am looking forward to your future posts to see what you found out.

Please Help, 19 yr old horse, loss of cond, hair loss, itchy,?

All good answers. Wait till the vets comes back with the tests, they know more about horse health then us. Thats why they spent years in colledge just for that!

Please Help, 19 yr old horse, loss of cond, hair loss, itchy,?

I have no idea why all of a sudden everyone keeps talking about thyroid problems in horses but they just don't exist!! Horses can have enlarged thyroid glands but it never results in hyperthyroidism. Horses can have a pseudohypothyroidism as in most chronic illnesses the thyroid function decreases, however this is nothing to do with the thyroid itself, it is merely a metabolic response to illness.

I would tentatively suggest Cushings as a possibility; the hair loss can happen sedondarily following infection of the skin, and loss of condition would also fit (plus she is the right age). They actually usually don't have a curly coat; it is often long but not curly except on the legs. My other suggestions are liver disease (with a kind of psychosomatic skin itchiness) or an allergy of some kind.

Have faith in your vet - if the first set of tests don't show anything then they will test for something else. Unfortunately sometimes lab results just take a while to come back.

Please Help, 19 yr old horse, loss of cond, hair loss, itchy,?

Sounds like a bad dose of lice to me. I've seen this before and my friend dismissed the thought by saying sure all horses have lice! Turned out she had a very bad dose of them. You say your vet has checked for these little bugg**s already?

What ever the problem is I do hope it gets sorted out soon for you

Does being fat have anything to do w/ unwanted hair?

I am overweight and i have hair on my chest, butt and areas i dont want it to be. If i lose weight will the hair stop growing??? I am really committed this time, about losing weight.

Does skin pull back once you lose weight or does it still sag??

Does being fat have anything to do w/ unwanted hair?

Yes, it's related. When you are obese, your hormone levels can get affected, which causes the unwanted hair.

Depending on how much weight is lost, and how fast it is lost, there can be a lot of loose skin left behind.

Does being fat have anything to do w/ unwanted hair?

the hair is probably due to testoterone levels losing weight probably wont decrease the hair....yes your skin will adapt but depending on how heavy you are it may not go back all the way... especially if you are over 30.....but lose hte weight and 95 percent of your battle is won.. everything else will fall into place and you will feel so much better about yourself

Does being fat have anything to do w/ unwanted hair?

Are you a woman? You may have polycystic ovarian syndrome which would explain being heavy and having unwanted hair. Exercising would not help, unfortunately, you'd need to prescribed a drug by your endocrinologist.

Of course, you could be a fast-food eating man too. In which case, chest hair is not a bad thing.

As for skin, people say that if you lose weight too quickly (using BAD things like diet drugs) then yes, your skin will be loose and not snap back. However, I lost weight the natural way and still have plenty of loose skin. So it varies from person to person. If your skin is very elastic, lucky you.

Does being fat have anything to do w/ unwanted hair?

no you in puberty

once you loose wieght its off no saggyness but you have to maintain a healthy diet

Does being fat have anything to do w/ unwanted hair?

It is true, like the first responder suggests, that when one is overweight, hormone levels are effected . . . but, s/he is mistaken. An increase in body fat results in an increase in estrogen . . . testosterone is predominantly responsible for hair.

Because being overweight increases estrogen instead of testosterone, it's not likely that your hairy situation is caused by your size.

Does being fat have anything to do w/ unwanted hair?

I am assuming that you are female, since you do not want chest hair.

The only way to know for sure, is to see your Dr. Your condition may be polycystic ovarian disease (a condition that causes excess hair in unusual places, and weight gain) There are other possible causes too, but of course seeing your Dr is the way to find out.

As far as losing weight, you want to do it slowly enough for your skin to have time to adjust itself, and shrink. Eating the right foods /getting adequate vitamins and minerals will also help nourish your skin and keep it as firm as possible as you reduce.

Exercise is also highly recommended ! This, once again is after seeing your Dr!

Good luck.

Does being fat have anything to do w/ unwanted hair?

You don't mention your age or your weight, but you should look up PCOD, polycystic ovary disease. It's associated with obesity and hair overgrowth is a symptom. See your doctor.

Does being fat have anything to do w/ unwanted hair?

i dont think so

My niece has lost lots of hair is the sign of cancer every 2 or 3 yrs this happens the doc says its

Cancer doesn't cause you to lose hair the chemotherapy and radiation does. I am so sorry she is going through this. If the doctor thinks its stress you need to get her to a child psychologist or therapist immediately!! There is something going on with this sweetheart. If her insurance doesn't cover it and funds are tight, check with the university in your area that has a Psychology program, they usually hold very inexpensive free clinicals for the senior students (supervised by licensed faculty) training purposes. I implore you to get to the root of this problem, I experienced this as a teen and the underlying cause was not one that I would have told a family member; it took a therapist to bring it out.

My niece has lost lots of hair is the sign of cancer every 2 or 3 yrs this happens the doc says its stress?

It could very well be stress...or a condition called Alopecia Areata...the loss of hair brought on by stress or other traumatic events.

My niece has lost lots of hair is the sign of cancer every 2 or 3 yrs this happens the doc says its stress?

The doctor is probably right. Cancer doesn't cause hair loss, it's the treatments that do. It could be hormones or something too, but with the frequency or lack thereof, it's probably stress

My niece has lost lots of hair is the sign of cancer every 2 or 3 yrs this happens the doc says its stress?

Cancer does not cause hair loss.

Chemotherapy (Cisplatin, and Platin based Chemo)

can cause hair loss.

Radiation therapy to the head and neck area can also cause hair loss.

Outside of cancer, the most prevelant reasons for hair loss

can include poor diet, and stress, or for other heriditary reasons.

My niece has lost lots of hair is the sign of cancer every 2 or 3 yrs this happens the doc says its stress?

It is probably stress. Cancer does not make your hair fall out it is the chemo that makes it. It can also be alopecia. This makes all your hair fall out.

Hi im 19 years old and experiencing hair loss. Help please!?

I'm losing lots of hairs a day, i know its natural to lose like 100 hairs a day but the amount im losing a day is ridiculous...its not really noticable to anyone else yet, but i know if i dont do anything now whilst its still early then it will begin to be noticable in the future. Any help aside from 'shave ur head' would be helpful thanks!

Hi im 19 years old and experiencing hair loss. Help please!?

While nothing is absolutely carved in stone, the fact that you are 19 years of age and experiencing hair loss suggests that you may be genetically destined to fairly extensive pattern baldness. While several treatment options exist, at the present time, there is no cure, per se, for pattern hair loss. The spectrum of treatment options include pharmacotherapy (i.e. minoxidil and finasteride), non-drug-based options (those that include saw palmetto and other botanicals), surgical hair restoration, and prosthetics (sometimes called "hair replacement systems"). The future of hair loss treatment options (probably becoming available in eight to ten years) may add gene therapy, hair cloning, or some combination of these approaches. In the meantime, a person suffering from this disorder, especially a person as young as yourself, is best served by gathering as much objective information as possible, BEFORE making any decisions. The more you know, the better choices you will make. The only other thought I would add is that the treatment options that really work seem to work best in younger persons who are just starting to experience visible hair loss.

Hi im 19 years old and experiencing hair loss. Help please!?

Take zinc! Read up about it first, too much is dangerous!

Americans are most deficient in zinc, do you have acne? Zinc is great for acne as well (if you have a dificiency)

Hi im 19 years old and experiencing hair loss. Help please!?

If it is significant enough for you to be worried, see a doctor. There may be an underlying cause that needs to be treated.

Hi im 19 years old and experiencing hair loss. Help please!?

not to scare you,but that happened to an ex of mine-he lost all his hair, and no doctor could explain it...we assume its from his dad being around napalm in a war.

Hi im 19 years old and experiencing hair loss. Help please!?

are you sure you dont have alopecia you would notice small bald spots brought on by stress.use that new shampoo propecia it is suppose to prevent balding or thinning, good luck!

Hi im 19 years old and experiencing hair loss. Help please!?

You are stuck between a rock %26amp; a hard place. Men lose their hair due to a testosterone derivative called DHT. You have more of it, so yours is most likely going faster. You can take medications that block DHT (like Rogaine), but you will be sacrificing some of the effects testosterone has on your body. In other words, sexual side effects are common. So it is up to you to decide what to do.

This is all assuming that most of the hair your losing is from the front - i.e. you have a receding hair line. If you are losing hair from the crown of your head - this may be due to a fungal infection. See a dermatologist.

My dog has lost all her hair?

So I took her to the vet and the vet gave her a shot for mites and now she cant sit still and stop crying. Is that normal after after a shot to get rid of the mites?

My dog has lost all her hair?

Dogs can get mange mites under their skin that keep moving and makes them totally miserable. Never heard of a shot for them usually they will give you a dip to dip them in. Call your vet and ask them because it may have caused a adverse reaction to the shot. It could be the mites are dying. You may want to ask your vet about you getting the mite under your skin also. There is a mange mite that can transfer from dogs to human.

Did the vet also prescribe a shampoo to bathe it in? he should of. I imagine he probably gave the shot Ivermectin. and if it seems it got worse Take him back.

My dog has lost all her hair?

CALL YOUR VET...NOW. She might be allergic to whatever was in the shot.

My dog has lost all her hair?

Mites are most often found in ear infections. I have been a professional pet groomer for 7 years now and not once have i found 'mites' on a dog. I have found 'fleas' on a dog that can cause itching. Are you sure that it is 'mites'.

Some things that do cause hair loss in dogs is hyperthyroidisim. or a change in hormones. are you sure that it is not one of those. if your dog can't stop itching you should really call your vet and ask what he/she gave your dog, and then get them to check your dogs thyroid.

My dog has lost all her hair?

If she has demodex mange which is mites that live under the skin of the animal it will cause it to loose its hair although I have never heard of having shots for it. When my dog had mites her hair loss started on her paws, and her skin was very red and flaky. She had to take Ivermectin orally for 4 months to clear it. If it is mites I would assume your vet would have done skin scrapings on your dog to make sure that was what it was. Pyoben Shampoo will help relieve your dogs skin inflammation, but I would question if it is mites if your vet didn't do a skin scraping.

My dog has lost all her hair?

What i think your dog has is mange which is caused by a mite and causes the dog to loss hair %26amp; if it is taken lightly it can even kill your dog. i think you should buy a shampoo or medicine to treat it.

My dog has lost all her hair?

Did you vet do a skin scrape for the mites, scrape a little piece of skin of your dog and place it on a slide? Mine did this on monday since my Scottish Terrier is losing some fur around her eyes, but once the slide was placed under the microscope, she found no mites (just a mild skin allergy). As for a shot for mites, she had discussed an ointment and drops for the ears. I have never heard of a shot for a microbe in animals. I would suggest going back to your vet ASAP, you never know what this shot can be doing to the insides of your puppy. Good luck and please let us know how it goes!

My dog has lost all her hair?

Maybe yourdog got allergy with what ever it is,I don't want to know either.Take her to a vet.

My dog has lost all her hair?

SCARCOPIC MANGE IS A MANGE FROM MITES-THEY LOOSE THEIR HAIR. IT CAN GET ON YOU AND ITS CALLED SCABIES. I'VE ALWAYS DIPPED MY DOGS WITH DIP FOR FLEAS, TICKS AND IT'LL SAY FOR SCARCOPIC MANGE, ALSO. SOME DOGS GET ALLERGIES THAT CAN CAUSE HAIR LOSS. THE VET CAN GIVE SHOTS OR PILLS TO CONTROL.

My dog has lost all her hair?

Please, take the time and the $$$ (even if you have to borrow it) And take her to another vet.

My dog lost all of her hair starting at her bottom and going up.

It was a liver problem. And I didn't catch it in time and now she is gone..

Her best furry friend has lost all the hair on the top of his and the left part of his face...because he has tumors.

Please, oh please! Take your furry kid to another vet. Preferably one that each other isn't affiliated with.

It really is worth a second opinion!!!

Good luck and may your furry kid get better!!!!

My dog has lost all her hair?

There are three main reasons for hair loss in a dog.

1. FLEAS. The home must be completed treated to get rid of the fleas. BEST SOLUTION is an animal call nematodes. They are available from good pet supplies or feed stores. Simple wet the ground in you yard and lightly powder the ground with them. Inside the home lightly wet with water the carpeting and lightly sprinkle the powder on the carpet. Ususally comes in 16 oz plastic bottles. After treating the house and the yard then treat the dog as below for mites. Drown the fleas the weting solution will also drown the pupa. The eggs can be killed using an aloe vera skin cream on the dog daily. It softens the skin and helps releave itching.

2. MANGE MUST go to the vet to get proper medications.

3. ALERGIES. Your dog may have alergies just like we do. Some affect the skin others their eyes or lungs. Again Off to the vet for testing and necessary meds.

IF YOUR DOG REALLY HAS MITES then a bath in a "wetted water" solution (using something like Amway LOC) will drown the mites. Then use a simple aloe vera cream all over the dog and it will also help with the itching. Mites normally infest the ears so using an ear drop (mineral oil) will also help but only if the dog really has mites.

In all of the above cases a simple use of regular Benadryl 25mg capsules once a day will help stop the itching. (Straight from my own dogs vet.) Benadryl is available over the counter in a generic form as Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride. Give it to your dog with a soft chewy treat or a piece of meat.

Do cancer patients lose there pubic hair when they go through kemo?

me and my girlfriend had a big debate about this

Do cancer patients lose there pubic hair when they go through kemo?

Not all chemotherapy regimes cause hair loss; some just cause hair thinning, and some don't cause hair loss at all.

Chemo that causes hair loss can cause hair loss anywhere on the body. Some people lose all their body hair, some lose just some of it, and pubic hair is often the first to go.

I lost the hair on my head and my pubic and underarm hair; my eyelashes and eyebrows thinned out a bit, but I was lucky enough not to lose them. The hair on my legs didn't budge.

Interestingly, my underarm hair never grew back.

Do cancer patients lose there pubic hair when they go through kemo?

Yes, they lose all of their hair! Good question though!

Do cancer patients lose there pubic hair when they go through kemo?

Most chemo patients loose all the hair on their bodies!!! Even their nose hair!!!

Do cancer patients lose there pubic hair when they go through kemo?

you lose your hair everywhere. arms, legs, head, and rest of the body.

Do cancer patients lose there pubic hair when they go through kemo?

There is no way for the chemo to pick and choose which hair folicles it will attack. Once the hair starts to fall out it will fall out from eveywhere. I lost hair due to medication. Although it wasn't as drastic as chemo I lost it all over.

Do cancer patients lose there pubic hair when they go through kemo?

Yes, they will lose all hair.

Do cancer patients lose there pubic hair when they go through kemo?

It's chemo, and yes, they lose all their hair.

Do cancer patients lose there pubic hair when they go through kemo?

yes

Do cancer patients lose there pubic hair when they go through kemo?

Depends on how severe the chemo treatment is. I only lost the hair on my head when I underwent my chemo treatments and it later gradually came back (well some of it haha most stayed gone but it was going anyway).

Can hair extensions help you grow your hair?

my hair is badly damaged and im losing more and more length as i need to straighten it becausitsso big.i am getting braided extensions can it halp me grow myhair?

Can hair extensions help you grow your hair?

nope. hair extensions cannot help grow hair.

Can hair extensions help you grow your hair?

No, it won't help your hair grow out but it will give you more ahir to work with until it does.

When it grows back out, you can still straighten it, just use a protective, moisturizing shampoo (back to basics).

Can hair extensions help you grow your hair?

no sorry it cant, and if you are afraid of more hair, then i wouldn't: hair extensions pull on your hair and scalp.

Can hair extensions help you grow your hair?

no, actually hair extentions make you lose more hair!! please dont use it unless you really have to, its bad for your real hair.

good luck :)

Can hair extensions help you grow your hair?

Nope, actually they stunt the growth of your hair. If your hair is damaged that bad I wouldnt put the extensions in your hair until you bring your hair into a good condition. You need to do deep conditioning treatments or cholesterol treatments to your hair twice a week. You can get these at a beauty supplies store like sally beauty supplies. Also your gonna want to pick up a few processing caps to keep the heat in so it can get to the root and follicle of your hair and replenish the condition of your hair. Leave the treatment's on for 15 to 20 mins. Hope this helped! Good luck! =]

Can hair extensions help you grow your hair?

Hair extensions wont help it to grow. Vitamins B, C, F, zinc, iron, copper and protein are essential for hair growth. Drinking plenty of water and eating plenty of raw fruits and vegetables is probably the best way to achieving healthy hair.Try http://solutionsforhairgrowth.blogspot.c... for more details.

Why do i lose so much hair in the shower?

no i'm not anorexic or bulimic.

Why do i lose so much hair in the shower?

It's your shampoo. You probably aren't using the right kind for your hair. If you use kind from the grocery store or drug store it has a lot of wax that coats your cuticles(hair strands and roots). Go here and it will tell you what kind you need! http://www.redken.com/yourhair/proc.cfm?...

Why do i lose so much hair in the shower?

u are not suitable for the shampoo.... or mayb your hair is weak...

Why do i lose so much hair in the shower?

I have a friend who is a beauty shop owner and she says, it's normal to lose some hair in order for new growth. if it's more than a handful I would see a dr.

Why do i lose so much hair in the shower?

It's natural to lose up to 100 hairs a day. Don't worry about it. The water is just rinsing away any hair you were losing- it just looks like a lot because you see it in the tub

Why do i lose so much hair in the shower?

because when your hair gets wet it shrinks to about 10,000 times it's normal size and therefore becomes much much easier to break.

hope that helped!

Why do i lose so much hair in the shower?

It's normal for women to lose lots of hair in the shower. A man knows.

If you're still concerned, maybe the water is too hot, as I've heard.

Why do i lose so much hair in the shower?

There are lots of reasons that you lose so much hair in the shower. Stress is a large part of it but it could also be your hair type. Sometimes when brittle hair gets wet it breaks because the water makes it heavier. If you have naturally thick hair then it is not surprising that your hair would fall out. Thicker hair tends to grow quickly and seems to develop a "cycle" of growing, falling out and regrowing quickly. As long as you keep your scalp healthy and moisturized you should not worry about the hair loss, it'll grow back.

Why do i lose so much hair in the shower?

you should use the shampoo which suits u and do oiling two times in a week

Why do i lose so much hair in the shower?

its normal

did you dyed your hair before?

Why do i lose so much hair in the shower?

You could be radioactive. seriously.

or you could be being poisoned.

with thallium.

look it up.

Why do i lose so much hair in the shower?

1.) It could be your shampoo, try switching shampoos every so often.

2.) If it's not the shampoo try taking vitamins.

Tips To Stop Hair Loss %26amp; Keep Healthy Hair Here are some hair care tips that you can use to help stop hair loss and keep your existing hair healthy and looking great. Please don't take these tips lightly. They are very important . The only thing they require is your time and commitment.

- Massage your scalp with your fingertips (not your nails) daily to stimulate and promote circulation to your scalp and reduce excess fallout. Invert your head while you shampoo %26amp; massage your scalp. This helps promote blood circulation to the head.

- Essential oils %26amp; tea . To stimulate scalp circulation, massage the scalp with rosemary essential oil or rinse hair with tea made from sage.

- Comb or brush your hair and scalp gently in the morning and at night. This helps break up hardened oils (sebum) that are clogging your hair follicles. Doing this alone has produced new hair growth. Do not over do combing or brushing.

- keep a distance from dryer's heat. When using blow dryers, always keep the heat a good distance from your scalp and hair. Avoid heating the scalp and hair excessively. Excessive heat will increase hair loss, and excess fallout.

- Avoid getting hair creams, lotions, styling gels and sprays directly on the scalp as they will clog your hair follicles. Use a light hold spray if you must.

- After swimming in a pool, shampoo your hair as soon as possible to remove any chlorine residue. Chlorine is extremely damaging to the hair and scalp.

- Avoid over-exposing your hair and scalp to the wind and sun. Good hair care over a long period really makes a difference!

- Avoid tight hats and caps as they contribute to poor circulation, depriving the hair of proper nutrition and stunting new hair growth. The sweat, dirt and grime around the rim inhibit follicle health and contribute to build-up.

- Always consult your health care provider for extreme causes of excess fallout and thinning. A medical condition or medication could be causing hair loss side-effects.

- Strive for balance and harmony in both your personal and professional lifestyle. High stress factors can cause your body to react by fluctuating hormone levels. This in turn causes excessive oil secretion (sebum) which results in hair loss.

- Pregnancy, nursing, menopause, and even birth control medication can cause constant changing factors on your nutritional needs and hormonal levels which contribute to hair loss and excess fallout.

- Avoid "crash and fad" diets. Proper nutritious meals along with vitamin and mineral supplements are a key factor for healthy hair and skin.

- Good hair care starts with awareness. These hair care tips, if followed consistently, will reduce excess fallout, hair loss, and promote new hair growth.

- Reduce hair loss effects by increasing your intake of vitamin C found in fresh fruits and vegetables, particularly citrus fruit and juices, parsley, broccoli, green peppers and black currants. Take a vitamin B complex everyday or brewers yeast. Increase your intake of protein found in meat, fish, liver, wheat germ, dried cooked beans and peas, tofu, cheese, milk and eggs.

- Take dietary supplements such as Vitamin B6, zinc %26amp; saw palmetto. Supplements are useful when you can't get enough from natural food sources.

- The Chinese believe that hair is nourished by the blood, and therefore influenced by the kidney %26amp; liver. Treatment is aimed at these organs using fleece flower root, wolfberry fruit or mulberry fruit.

- Eliminate stress or else it can be disastrous to your precious hair!

- Get enough sleep. Sleeping well is essential for the health of your hair as well as for the rest of your body.

There are ways you can help stop the grease from appearing but you have to work at it.

Do not wash everyday. The cleaner your hair is the more it can seep into your glands and harder it is to get rid of. When you do wash make sure you are washing with a cleaning shampoo and scrubbing the build up off. Take in mind that you also have to have a ph-balanced mild shampoo and lite scrubbing is recommended. Try to avoid conditioner at the roots, apply in the middle or on the ends.

Try to avoid oil in your daily food intake. And do eat more vegetables. You could visit your doctor but only after you check and consider your diet, drugs, alcohol, and your fatty food intake. Let's face it we see what McDonalds can do to your heart in a month, can you image your hair. You would be dripping everywhere.

Maybe it's time to change your shampoo. Ask your stylist what she or he would recommend. Avoid using shine products at all costs. Keep away from two-in-one shampoos and conditioners and any frizz serums.

To fix at the moment, rub a little Talcum Powder on your dried hair at the roots. Just make sure you wash it out. I wish they would event that magic product, but this will help until they do.

Here are 10 tips for to keep your hair strong, smooth, shiny and beautiful!

1. Keep your diet balanced, and eat protein and calcium rich foods. Stay away from junk foods! This is essential for healthy hair.

2. Foods and supplements to nourish your hair:

* Beans

* Yogurt

* Almonds

* Vitamin B

* Fish

* And of course, the magic potion for beauty - WATER

3. Before washing your hair, comb it well to make sure all knots has been loosened from your hair.

4. Before applying shampoo, use warm water (35 to 38 degrees Celsius) to run through your hair to rinse and wet it thoroughly.

5. When applying shampoo or conditioner, don't use your fingernails to scrape through your hair. Instead, use your palm and fingertips to massage your scalp and hair gently, in circular motions. This will help the circulation and also help to keep your hair shiny and smooth.

6. After rinsing away all the shampoo, run water over your hair for at least another half a minute (3 minutes is best) to ensure there are no remains of shampoo remaining in your hair, since this will cause a great deal of damage to your scalp.

7. When applying hair treatment products, do so just after you have washed your hair, so that your hair can absorb all the good stuff while it is half wet. This will be the best time for it to absorb nourishment.

8. NEVER go to bed with your hair wet! Hair that is half wet is most easily broken, and if you sleep during this time, your hair will be rubbing against each other, damaging your hair in the most terrible way.

9. Too much pressure may lead to hair loss! Relax... try some good relaxation methods such as soaking in a nice scented bath, listening to music, and eating healthy comfort foods such as strawberries and grapes.

10. Perming and coloring seriously damages your hair. Avoid it as much as possible. Also, when using hair setting products such as gel or putty, use as little as possible, because they hurt your scalp and hair. Wash them out thoroughly afterwards with a shampoo specially created for removing styling products.

How to get healthy hair?

Hey!

I had the same problem and some1 told me that before u take a shower, u have to take an egg, break it and put the yellow stuff on ur head and then put a shower cap and let it rest for 5 min. Then take a shower and wash it off, put shampoo and conditionner and repeat this for a week. U should really try it because in like a week my hair didn't fall out alot anymore.

Bye!

How to get healthy hair?

Don't do the egg thing... It makes your hair stink! and I can understand about that and all of these people telling you to use oil but if you have seborrea dermatitis, it will make it worse! If you have excessively oily hair and greasy dandruff. DO NOT USE EGG OR OIL!

Stress and or hormone fluctuations or poor nutrition does that...

Take a multivitamin that contains Biotin, all the B vitamins and amino acids. Wash your hair with a gentle shampoo frequently, ease up on the greasy laminates and heavy, creamy, gells %26amp; straighteners that contain wax or silicone

or use a clarifying shampoo often if you absolutely MUST straighten your hair with product... and maybe try some herbal tea for relaxation?

Hair is made up of protein and amino acids. Eat lots of chicken and fish avacado is great for healthy hair eat things that contain omega fatty acids...

If this doesn't help... start with the dermatologist and if that doesn't help, it is hormonal and you need to go to an endocronologist.

I lost a patch a of hair on my scalp due to Psoriasis, will it grow back?

yeah if u use hair products that make it grow back maybe u should go to the doctor

My 2 1/2 yr old long hair Doxie has lost her fur on her belly, neck and a on her butt. Why?

She could be getting old and losing her hair, although shes not that old. Is she scratching alot? She could have a flea problem, like shes allergic to them, my Pom Max was and he lost fur because of it. She could also be allergic to something you put on her, have you tried a new perfume on her recently? or anything scented, even her food she could be having an allergic reaction to it.

Good luck!

My 2 1/2 yr old long hair Doxie has lost her fur on her belly, neck and a on her butt. Why?

It could be a problem with her thyroid. Have her checked by a vet.

My 2 1/2 yr old long hair Doxie has lost her fur on her belly, neck and a on her butt. Why?

Could be allergies, or stress, or any other number of problems. Take her to the vet.

My 2 1/2 yr old long hair Doxie has lost her fur on her belly, neck and a on her butt. Why?

This happened to my cat. He's nervous and he licks his stomach and legs constantly. Definitely get this checked out by a vet.

My 2 1/2 yr old long hair Doxie has lost her fur on her belly, neck and a on her butt. Why?

My cat had the same thing happen to her. The vet thought it could be one of several things, so I will give them to you so you can review and rule out:

1. flea allergy

2. food allergy

3. stress (from another animal in the house, etc, ours was from her being in heat all the time because she wasn't fixed--she was licking the fur off).

before taking dog to vet, put on a flea treatment program.

if you suspect food allergy, change to a completely different food that has none of the same ingredients. we went holistic, instead of beef, chicken, fish, it's duckmeal, vegs with trace of chicken.

it takes i think about a month, if it's a food allergy for the food to get completely out of the animals system.

happy to say that we did all of the above, and our cat, now has FUR!

My 2 1/2 yr old long hair Doxie has lost her fur on her belly, neck and a on her butt. Why?

Well ,could be mange which is a tiny parasite infection. She will need antibiotics for that. Or maybe fleas which is causing her to scratch the fur off.To check for fleas run a fine tooth comb through her hair, if you see little specks of black stuff that is flea dirt.

My 2 1/2 yr old long hair Doxie has lost her fur on her belly, neck and a on her butt. Why?

you need to get her to a vet. Sounds like hot spots and they will continue to spread

My 2 1/2 yr old long hair Doxie has lost her fur on her belly, neck and a on her butt. Why?

possibly a yeast infection. the only way to know for sure is a trip to the vet

What can i put in my hair too make it grow longer and faster?

from my lupus i almost lost all of my hair its growing slowly nd i just wanted to know what can i put in it to make it grow longer but fast....

What can i put in my hair too make it grow longer and faster?

Hi, Im a student in the field of cosmetology,

Nothing can really make your hair grow longer. Ive looked. But there are things you can do to help it.

One thing is that if you straighten or use irons on your hair, like myself, deep condition your hair ALOT! I do it two to three times a week! Even if you dont have a deep conditioner you can use regular conditioner on your hair for an hour or more, this also works nicely. My hair became really strong after this.

Vitamins help too! Take a multivitamin and a vitamin B-complex.

Do not color your hair alot! It weakens your hair causing it to snap off. If you do need to though, dont forget to condition, condition, condition!!! Dont forget bleaching! That is one of the worste things you could do!!

Cutting your hair doesnt make it grow faster!!! All that does is remove the split ends.

Massage your scalp regularly, this helps with growth!! It helps circulate blood flow in the scalp, with premotes hair growth.

Hope this information was helpful :)

What can i put in my hair too make it grow longer and faster?

i use mane and tame shampoo it is not to expensive and it really works well, it comes in a yellow and pirple bottle with a horse on it

What can i put in my hair too make it grow longer and faster?

maintain a healthy diet.

that works best actually.

What can i put in my hair too make it grow longer and faster?

I don't think there is anything you can put on it to make it grow faster. I would suggest getting it trimmed regularly to keep it healthy and from breaking or splitting. I've been told it also helps with growth, too : )

What can i put in my hair too make it grow longer and faster?

I don't think there is any product that will make your hair grow longer and faster. If you keep the ends trimmed (1/2" cut off every couple of months), it will appear to grow longer faster because it will be healthy.

What can i put in my hair too make it grow longer and faster?

I friend is a hair stylist and she told me if you brush it alto it will grow faster and quicker. But everyone is different.

My cat is loosing his hair?!?

He is about....3 years old and i just noticed that he has lost alot of his hair on his stomach.

any ideas?!

My cat is loosing his hair?!?

you might want to take him to a vet. He might be stressed and over grooming, he might have a food allergy/sensitivity that is causing him to over groom, or he might have a flea allergy that causes him to... well you get the point.

You can watch him for a few days and see how it progresses.. watch to see if he's grooming the area a lot. however one thing that is of major concern is if he has an issue with his bladder. Make sure he's able to go pee. If he can't, it might be uncomfortable for him and he's grooming that area to try to comfort himself. If he is not eating/drinking and or he's in and out of the litter box with out producing much urine, then you really need to get him in to the vet right quick!

My cat is loosing his hair?!?

Its molting, all animals with hair molt, it's natural. Don't worry about it, your cat will be fine.

My cat is loosing his hair?!?

I just had my cat to the vets last week for the same problem. She was constantly licking herself which irriated the skin even more. the out come at the vets was " she is allergic to flea bites" with some meds an Advantage she is doing better already, an the hair is starting to come back. Good luck with kitty : )

My cat is loosing his hair?!?

Vitamin deficiency?.

How do I keep my hair healthy if I wanna color them often?

I had some hormones problems that made me lose lots of hair and now I'm using medicines. But I really like to color it and people say it's not good for my hair. Do you have any solution?

How do I keep my hair healthy if I wanna color them often?

definately use pureology.

it's an anti-fade colour line

originally made for cancer

patients going through kimo-

therapy. it's 100% vegan and

doesn't contain any sulfate

(which breaks down colour)

i would use the hydrating line,

which is in the purple bottles,

to keep your hair nice and healthy..

if you do decide to get pureology,

you only need to use a dime-sized

amount because it contains no water.

it's a salon product and you CAN get it

at a beauty supply store without a

hairdressers liscense..

it's the best product i know for

keeping healthy, coloured hair

definately worth a shot ( :

I completly understand what you are going through!!! put your hair in a pony-tail, pig-tails, w/e, just have it tamed by some form of elastic or something. Then get a new straigtner if you can't find your old one.

I just lost my straightener and my hair is a mess ahhhhh what do i do with my hair?????????

My hair is REALLY thick also. After washing my hair and using a great conditioner - I blow dry my hair while brushing my hair straight. It's just as easy as using my straightener.

You can also use a regular curling iron to straighten your hair. Just pull your hair down through the curling iron and at the bottom, gently flip it under a little.

I just lost my straightener and my hair is a mess ahhhhh what do i do with my hair?????????

I'm assuming that your hair must be wavy or curly.

How can I get my hair to grow back?

Dear Friend,

I am so glad to hear that you are doing better and I know that you are a very beautiful person. You can grow your hair back several ways, and I won't emphasize diet, but please make sure you eat well.

If your hair growth is really at issue, Propecia, Rogaine, and DHT blockers can help. But, the problem with all of these products is they are expensive, have temporary results that stop after use of the product, lastly, they have side effects. Thus, the best way to grow your hair fast is to take care of your hair from the inside out. Assess whether you live an unhealthy lifestyle or use traditional drugstore hair products that contain alcohol and sulfates. If you do, you can potentially be stunting your hair growth. I am a stylist, and if you follow the tips below, you can grow your hair. These tips have worked on several of my cients.

Tip # 1: Drink plenty of water

6-8 glasses is a must. 8-12 is even better.

Tip #2: Get your vitamins

Take a B Complex, Fish Oil, Vitamin C, and Vitamin E.

Tip #3: Only use an all-natural hair growth or hair thickening shampoos and conditioners

There are several good natural shampoos on the market, such as Aubrey Organics and Giovanni. However, I have used A Double Portion Super Hair Growth Shampoo on my hair loss clients because it is created specifically for hair growth and I have seen substantial results in a matter of month. It is full of hair growth promoting essential oils, sage, cayenne, neem, jojoba, and aloe. For my clients that used it, their hair got thicker, longer, and softer. You can find it online at Beauty 4 Ashes Christian Health %26amp; Beauty website. It is great shampoo just for making your hair more manageable and smooth as well.

Tip #4: Place as little heat and chemicals on your hair as possible. No hair coloring please.

Tip #5: Live a stress free life.

Tip #6: Get your blood flowing

Aerobic exercise stimulates blood circulation throughout the entire body, including the scalp. This is important for hair growth. Also, consider massaging your scalp for 5-10 minutes a day with warm olive or coconut oil. It will accentuate your hair growth as well.

Tip #7: Mash 1/2 cup of avocado, a tablespoon of mayo, and a tablespoon of coconut milk and olive oil together. Blend well. Let it sit on your hair for 20-30 minutes. Rinse your hair with tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and follow with an all-natural hair growth and thickening shampoo. Do this at least 2-3 times a week. Within one month, your hair should be fuller and bouncier, without having to get an expensive salon treatment.

How can I get my hair to grow back?

Massage your scalp? Drink v8 juice with oatmeal then take your multivitamin.

Right now I take CVS Drugstore Weight Sharp. It has green tea in it, the EGCG.

Only time can tell!

Don't perm or color dye your current hair now or ever.

Find a Shampoo/Conditioner that strengthens the hair shaft.

Use wide tooth comb, no hair brushes!

How can I get my hair to grow back?

Treat and condition your hair every week and try to avoid using gels and spritz cause it breaks your hair. Use a deep treatment to treat your hair. Also, avoid flat irons and curling irons because it gives split ends and breaks your hair. You can also use a hair growth formula. Good luck.
