On conditioning until my hair are slightly wet it is ok to comb but when they loose water they get tangled when i comb again and loses shine therefore i have to apply oil everytime.

brush from the tip, about one inch if it's really tangled. brush the bottom inch of one section, then go up another inch or two higher on that same section and brush. keep going until you can brush smoothly from the scalp. do that for every section of hair. this will prevent your hair from getting damaged and broken with being forced through the brush/comb, and help retain your hair's shine. hope that helps!
