I have a 7 month old rottie that has lost a small pacth of hair on each of his front legs?

hes up to date on his shots and has a flea and tick controller on him all the time on the bald spot it feels like a zit that is under his skin. I have not yet taken him to the vet do you guys suggest anything it could be. or how long it will last will his hair grow back if the problem is fixed been going on for about 2 weeks im about to make a vet appointment

Well, where is exactly the bald spots on? The spot where you think a dog's elbow would be? It's probably normal because BOTH of my dogs have no fur on their "elbows" and our vet says it's normal.

Have your vet do a skin scrape for Demodex mites.
