I lost a lot of hair too, when I was pregnant my iron was WAY low. It's taking a while, and kid of looks stupid because it all those little "baby" hairs. But it is coming back. If you are really concerned you could see a professional, but I just left it and hoped for the best. Seems to be getting better. Good luck to you.

Always use a mild shampoo .Massage the head with oil for 15-20 minutes and then rinse with a shampoo. A hot oil massage with olive oil will also help .Apply a mixture of lemon juice to the scalp .More remedies at http://hairthinning.org/ will prevent further problems.

Your hair should grow back, unless there's permanent damage to the follicles. You might want to change your diet to something that's friendlier to hair nourishment. Hair is made of protein, so start w/ protein. You'll also need vitamin B complex, vitamin C, and zinc.

Also, try using shampoo and conditioner that are designed to nourish the scalp, such as Nioxin or Hairobics. I wouldn't use Rogaine/minoxidil until you've determined that you have some form of pattern baldness.

I created a website and a blog to share my experience and help out others. Maybe there's something in there that could help you out.

hair loss can be causded by stress so stop worring and keep taking iron if that is perscribed by your doctor.

People lose hair after pregnancy whether they're anemic or not.

I've been seriously anemic on and off my whole adult life. Whenever my irons really low, yeah, my hair comes out LOADS - like... blocks up all the plugs in the house and really worries me, but when I take loads of tablets and boost my iron levels back up to what they should be, it stops doing it so much and recovers. Doctor told me not to worry too much.

Hi there, about 8 years ago my best friend lost nearly all her hair and was so depressed. She wore a hat out all the time. It took a few months to start growing back again and a year to be fully restored. She was told it was alopecia. Since then if she's very run down she loses little amounts, hardly noticible tho'. There were no cures or magic creams, try to eat healthily, boost your iron rich foods and easier said than done I know Relax. You will have a full head of hair again. :o)
