I have lost sections of my hair due to stress and cancer meds, but only in spots here and there. Some range in size from dime size to half the palm of my hair. Eventually it should grow back. I have thick brown curly hair (what is left of it) so I could hide clips in it.
Can you recommend anything that would hide these spots? I can't use extensions because it would cause more damage/fall out. Headbands don't cover it. I can't wear a scarf or on my head (due to work) But I don't need a full size wig. Do you know of anything that would help hide these until it grows in? And where I could find it? Please do not tell me a hat. My wedding is in two weeks and I am in a panic.

if you are only worried about your hair for the wedding then I would go to a stylist with those clips and let them fix your hair so that you can't tell. You are wearing a veil or something right. As for what you can use at other times. I am out of answers for you. However you make your hair grow faster by massaging your scalp about 30 minutes a day. this stimulates the blood flow and gets your papilla and folical working better. Good luck to you.
I am a stylist of 15 years. I hope I could help you out some what.

You should maybe start looking for a wig :]
You should get a nice Human haired one so you can curl it,straighten it and all that good stuff :D

Most hairdressers should be able to make you clip-in extensions that match your hair. I have a friend with short hair but wears long extensions when she goes out on the town and there are lots of people who actually think she has long, movie star wavy hair with never-faded blue streaks.

Wear your hair pulled up or back in a clip if possible and use a brown eye liner pencil to color the bare spots so they dont show through. I had to do that as a teen because I was wearing extremely tight ponytails and a big chunk of hair fell out and left a bare spot.... it made it much less noticeable and it blended easier. Good luck and congratz on your wedding!

Have you tried a lace front wig? It not like a full wig but more like a partial wig. You adhere it to your skin. You can always e-mail sales@hairbylondon.com to see if they have one in stock that they can get to you in two weeks.

Contact your local chapter of the American Cancer Society. These people are WONDERFUL. They can help you with anything cancer related, wigs, prosthetics, transportation, etc. and most of their services are free.
They should know who can best help you with your problem as they deal with business and people who are used to dealing with cancer patients. And who would not be interested in helping a bride to be feel beautiful, confident and sexy on her very special day!
Good luck. I hope your wedding is everything you have dreamed of.
